The Great Virus and other man-made devices
That the coronavirus is man-made mutated creation, which is presently endangering the world is not doubted anymore. What is rather pathetic is the way it is dealt with. Srila Prabhupada also experienced in His life various pandemics, even „taking some vaccination, regarding the Hong Kong flu“, but His instruction „never bring me to a hospital“ surely made some of His disciples desperate in times when His life was endangered.
Still, as a priority Srila Prabhupada was firmly establishing our Krsna Consciousness and not the way we may try to remove one material problem by creating another one.
He was absolutely refusing to accept blindly what was served to the public as being the truth, neither He was willing to indulge in speculative conspiration theories. When asked „who is behind all this“, His answer was firm and simple: „Maya, maya is behind all this.“
As one man may die and another survive, both being infected by the great virus, they are both entirely dependant on God´s mercy. We may attempt to protect ourselves from the onslaught of material energy, but the final preventive measure is to stop acting sinfully, inviting another reaction for our God abusing deeds.
And so one can only marvel at the worldwide hysteria and the desperate outcries of those who are in fear, that their precious material bodies may not be able to provide for them the desired sense gratification. One may even marvel more when seeing some of our ISKCON leaders joining such entirely body-oriented hysteria, some even declaring the opening of new hospitals to be „a sing of Srila Prabhupada´s mercy“
How furious would be our spiritual master when being equaled with Mother Theresa and other altruistically motivated saviours of mankind, who attempted to improve bodies of others only for the sake of heighten sense gratification. How embarrassing it is that the great preaching opportunity is missed here even by those, who pose as spiritual leaders.
What would Srila Prabhupada do in such times as these? The answer is clear to those who are familiar with His books and His teachings. He would firmly attack the constructors of this man-made disaster, the deviated members of the scientific community, who in service of the military games for the domination of the world temper with the original design of Mother Nature. Such demoniac people have to be exposed to the public by dint of strong preaching.
When Srila Prabhupada´s book „Life Comes from Life“ was published many disciples thought that „this book is for internal use only“. Such strong language was never heard from Srila Prabhupada´s lotus mouth before. Srila Prabhupada proudly announced in a lecture, that quite contrary this book is for the public, as the only missing link the scientists are seeking for is our kick in their faces.
Now the very same scientific community where this man-made creation came from is posing to the public as the ultimate saviour of mankind, making the puppet-like politicians humbly seeking their advise. Who of the ISKCON leaders make such clear points, exposing the culprits while sincerely offering their victims a spiritual alternative?
The confusion around the coronavirus pandemic is evident and welcomed by those who are not confused at all, by its creators. This is a great opportunity for such demoniac people to control masses even more, fill peoples´ hearts with fear and sharpen the control of the victimised citizens to the point of absolute loss of personal identity.
All this is done by staying anonymous while the „big horrible virus“ is the ultimate culprit of today.
Srila Prabhupada would be not derated by the way peoples´ minds are controled. Even accepting the closeness of premature death such virus can provide, He would advocate this to be even greater opportunity for devotees to preach and become more aware and make others more aware of the urgent need to become Krsna Conscious.
Here is a prayer of a mathaji named Nandini, written in Mayapur. It truly presents Srila Prabhupada´s spirit and it rephrases in wonderful way the ways demons attempt to „protect us all“.
I have no doubt Srila Prabhupada would be most pleased to read this:
"May I be quarantined in the heart of Sri Sri Radha Madhava for the rest of eternity."
"May They have me locked down beneath Their reddish lotus feet for the rest of eternity, keeping me safe from the virus of illusion."
"May They increase my immune system by giving me the vitamins of Their service."
"This is an order from the government of my heart to the citizens of my mind, during the lockdown period, which will extend till the existence of the soul."
"Let me use the hand wash called sincerity, to cleanse me of the germs of superficiality. (This should be done as many times in the day as possible, for at least 20 seconds, as per the time of Lord Brahma.)"
"Let me keep great distance from the people called lust, anger, pride and hypocricy who have arrived from a foreign land full of virus."
"Let me at the least keep a two meter distance of anger, from anyone who sneezes and coughs out harsh words against You or Your devotees."
"Let me cover my mouth with the tissue of intellitence, whenever I cough or sneeze any complaints about the service of Your Lordships."
"Let me always keep in my mouth the antivirus of Your holy names and pastimes."
